Nicole is a core member of Reboot’s programs team, focused on research, design, and documentation processes across various projects.


A specialist in open governance, Nicole brings to Reboot cross-sector experience working to make public services more transparent and the institutions responsible for delivering them more accountable. At Global Integrity in Washington D.C., she ran an experimental fund for seeding ideas in open government, a matchmaking mechanism between governments and non-governmental organizations for the Open Government Partnership (OGP), and a research consulting service for investors in emerging markets. Earlier, while working at the One World Foundation in New Delhi, India, Nicole traveled countrywide researching innovative approaches to public service delivery, from savings groups of palmyra palm tappers in Tamil Nadu, to land rights security of tribal women in Odisha.


Nicole is an avid strategic thinker who enjoys finding new ways of solving problems. Most recently, while engaged by the World Bank, she supported the development of a digital engagement unit designed to offer ICT support for boosting citizen participation and government responsiveness. Other creative problem-solving projects include building an internal bank account system for all traveling Google employees, a knowledge repository for the Government of India, and a frameworkfor ICT approaches to citizen engagement.


Nicole is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and holds a Master of Development Management from the London School of Economics. She speaks conversational Spanish and Hindi.
