Many organizations are dedicated to connecting people and building networks to drive social change. But sometimes, the idea that people in an organization are a network themselves is lost in translation. Through 15 years of work on progressive movements spurred by advocacy networks, it is clear that the most effective networks are highly functional because of seven essential elements. In this session, we’ll talk about those elements, and how to intentionally translate lessons learned from network building into best practices for organizational collaboration.

Desired Outcomes

Increased understanding of resources and best-practices for assessing current organzational culture and developing new systems, processes, best-practices for changing org culture to be more supportive of collaborative work.
